Western Ways Features Service Records, 1930-1979 (bulk 1930-1965).

Correspondence, manuscripts, ephemera and legal records chiefly relating to the creation of feature stories about tourism in Arizona, Mexico, and the western U.S. and other general interest topics. Manuscripts are mostly typescripts of stories; also some field notes, and film scenarios for documentary films and shorts. Ephemeral materials include tourist pamphlets, maps, and promotional materials distributed by local governments, businesses, and chambers of commerce from the late 1930s to the late 1960s. The legal records, from 1959 to 1976, concern the Buena Vista Land Fraud in which the Herberts were investors. Correspondents include Raymond Carlson, as editor of Arizona Highways magazine; the Camera Press Agency in London, an affiliate of Western Ways; Barry Goldwater; Roy Drachman; and Ray Manley.
